The exported model retains its numeric coordinates. For 3MF and AMF, STL coordinates are interpreted as millimeters. For GLB and glTF, millimeter source coordinates are divided by 1000 to write meters.
This changes the container for geometry. It does not recover colors, textures, animation, CAD surfaces or a feature history. Check destination units before using the model.
Start with a clean source, choose dimensions appropriate to the intended use, and inspect the exported file. A successful conversion does not guarantee printability or automatic mesh repair. Read our detailed workflow guide for the decisions that matter.
STEP input: 20 MB. STL, OBJ and 3MF input: 50 MB. Output is limited to 1.2 million triangles. Complex models may need simplification in the source application.
One file at a time. Processing stops after 90 seconds. Files remain in browser memory, and no conversion upload is performed. Replacing a file clears the previous result. Closing the tab releases its working data.

Open STL output in the STL viewer, then verify the scale and geometry in your slicer. OBJ output can be checked in a mesh application.
